3rd - 7th January 2012 Storm Compensation Arrangements: Scotland

Following the severe weather conditions across Scotland during the period 3rd - 7th January 2012, SP Energy Networks will be paying compensation to customers who were without power supply for a continuous period of more than 48 hours, in line with Guaranteed Standards of Service covering Category 2 exceptional situations, as agreed by the Industry Regulator.

A storm compensation team has been established to manage these payments and will be operational from Monday, 23rd January 2012.

Although it is our intention to contact all customers who are due compensation, should you wish to make a claim for compensation with regards to this period of time, you can:

• With immediate effect, and until 7th April 2012, complete the attached form (see instructions below on how to complete the form) and email it to Energynetworksnorthstorms@sppowersystems.com

This number will be operational for a period of 3 weeks, from 08:30 hours on Monday 23 January 2012 and will operate between 08:30 - 16:45 hours, Monday to Friday.
